Don’t take my word for it though!
Just last year alone, I’ve had many students succeed in their goals. Here is just a few of them:
Acceptance into the Royal Collegiate Honor Band
Two acceptances into the University of North Texas
Acceptance into Berklee College of Music
Two All State Placements
Eight placements into All-Region Bands in some of the most competitive school districts in Texas
Two Jazz All Region Placements
Three Superior Ratings at UIL Solo and Ensemble

What if I’ve never performed or taken lessons before?
You are absolutely welcome here. I work with beginners, returning players, and older students who are new to private lessons and solo performance. We’ve all been where you are. The beauty of private lessons is that everything is customized to you—we can start from the very basics, build your confidence, and help you feel comfortable getting on stage and playing your best.
I don’t think I have time for this…
Lessons are a commitment of weekly time and practice time, but they’re also one of the most efficient ways to grow. I offer 30-, 45-, or 60-minute lesson slots depending on your schedule and goals. If you’re serious about improving—whether that’s auditioning for region/All-State/College, moving up a chair in band, or just feeling more confident—there’s no substitute for focused, one-on-one instruction.
If you’re unsure, we can start with a free 25-minute consultation to see if the studio is a good fit.
Do you offer refunds?
I do not offer refunds for missed lessons. Your tuition reserves a specific weekly time just for you—much like a doctor’s appointment—so that time is held whether or not you attend. I follow a 46-week teaching schedule with 6 built-in weeks off during the year, and I do not offer make-up lessons except in cases of illness with a doctor’s note. We’ll go over the full studio calendar, attendance expectations, and payment policies in detail at our first meeting so there are no surprises.
I have more questions—how can I get in touch?
I’m happy to help! Send me an email at seantreynolds@outlook.com and I’ll gladly answer any questions or set up a consultation.
