I started as a student trying to improve my sound, technique, and confidence. Over the years, I spent countless hours practicing, performing, preparing for auditions, and learning from some of the best teachers and musicians in the field.
Through years of experience as a performer and educator, I've learned what helps musicians grow. I’ve learned how to build strong fundamentals, develop efficient practice habits, and approach challenges with a clear plan.
Now, I get to share those experiences with an incredible group of musicians who are working to become the best players they can be.

Meet Dr. Sean Reynolds
I'm a professional trombonist and low brass educator specializing in trombone, euphonium, and tuba instruction.
I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts in Trombone Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Cincinnati College - Conservatory of Music and have performed with orchestras and ensembles throughout the region. As an educator, I have helped students prepare for auditions, improve their technique, and become more confident performers.
My lessons are designed around each student's individual goals. Whether you're preparing for an audition, working toward a performance, or simply looking to enjoy playing more, we'll create a plan that helps you continue growing.
When I'm not teaching or performing, you can usually find me exploring Charlotte, reading fantasy novels, attending concerts, or working on my own playing. I believe great musicians never stop learning, and I love helping students experience that same journey.
